This 2- hour, free workshop focuses on the skill of sewing and the art of mending, RE // PAIRING your own clothes under the guidance of the Fast Fashun collective. Choose from the pile, or, got a favourite item you can’t bring yourself to throw away? Bring your own clothes!

Fast Fashun’s unique approach to addressing the impact of fast fashion, the ongoing climate emergency and empowering audience creativity is a testament to the power of art in affecting social change.

This is the perfect winter's evening activity to pair with a mulled wine. Settle in, wind down and learn a new skill.

Fast Fashun

Fast Fashun has been programmed at Sydney Festival, Midsumma Festival, The National Wool Museum, Geelong Design Week, The National Sustainable Living Festival, Melbourne Fashion Week and Melbourne Fashion Festival. The collective has received recognition from the 2021 Green Room Awards for Contemporary and Experimental Performance and was a finalist in the Midsumma Australia Post Art Award in 2022.
